Afourer mandarins are specially grown in Australia and are known for their high red orange colour. They are very easy to peel, with segments that separate easily. An inherent characteristic of these mandarins are the amber coloured, gummy droplets that sometimes develop at the core of the fruit. They have very good flavour and are a great blend of sweet and tangy.
